| Starting in the late 1990's, government-contracted, bio-engineering labs in the San Antonio area entered a new stage of bio-warfare R & D. Several strains of virus were engineered that could completely bring an entire population to its knees. One strain, (A), created a rabies-like reaction in the human nervous system, causing lack of fear, a high tolerance of pain, and highly increased aggression. Another highly virulent strain (B) also affected the nervous system, causing an initial, severe ataxia (lack of muscle coordination). | |||||||||||
| In April, 2011, a mutated virus was created that apparently included both the A and B strains. This virus was transmissible as an airborne virus, through the sweat and oils on the skin, and through direct contact with body fluids. | |||||||||||
| It is unclear exactly how, but in October, 2011, it became apparent that someone had transported the now highly mutated, hybrid strain, outside of the bio-research facility that housed it. On October 16th the first contact between this virus and the general population, was reported at Southwest General Hospital in San Antonio, TX. The rest of the story became history... | |||||||||||
