Location (Class Calendar)
The Human Path Texas Classes are taught in several locations around Northwest San
Antonio (Helotes), North San Antonio (just south of Bulverde/46), and Austin (various
locations). Survival treks take place in West TX, South TX and Central TX.
The primary teaching facility for the THP ecology-related courses is a 50-acre,
wooded area that is about 25 miles north of downtown San Antonio, Texas, or about
15 miles north of the San Antonio airport, and about a 70 minute drive from central
Austin, Texas.
Classes are also sometimes taught at the Helotes Creek Nature Center, in Helotes,
TX (just NW of San Antonio), and on a 4,000 acre ranch that is also just outside
(NW) of San Antonio, Texas.
Additionally, classes are sometimes held at a large acreage about 30 minutes south
of Austin (Red Rock), Texas.
Depending on interest (and usually in the case of Austin, Texas) classes are sometimes
hosted by a person or group of people who have large acreage. This allows for easy
access to people living in that town or part of town.
